need window screens / metal fabrication in Austin, TX?
I'm missing two window screens on my '48 Boles Aero. One is the larger fore/aft window (33.5" long) and the other is a side window (23.5" long). I've checked around with a couple of the vintage trailer used parts dealers with no luck. It seems like a piece that wouldn't be too costly to fabricate. I'd like to get on this as the mosquitos are one their way.
Any additional thoughts on where to acquire one or a recommendations on a fabricator near Austin? Thanks
Those look like they would be easy to fabricate. I have some bronze screen....a-la Boles Aero 1940's....when you need it.
You many find some extrusion here that you can use also.... Aluminum Extrusions Warehouse - EXTRUDE - A - TRIM

There is not much there, and you have one as a sample so the design work is zero. There are metal fab shops in almost every industrial park. Look one up, bring the sample and get a quote. The only problem is the low quantity, they may pass on the job for just one.... you never know.
