Is there a market for vintage stove and oven from 1970 Ambassador
We are gutting our 1970 Airstream but didnt know if it would be worth it to try and sell the original stove and oven that came with the trailer. Does anyone know of any websites that deal with vintage parts or vintage airstream appliances?
Yes there definitely is a market; especially for parts! they don’t make the magic chef replacement parts anymore. Also all new stoves are 3-burner.
We have a 1985 magic chef that they used glass oven door but did not upgrade the hinges, so goes clonk! Every time you open. So we purchased a non-working 70’s range (LOVE THE KNOBS!) and are parting out our old range to fix the “new”.
Since the stainless steel was rusty, having the oven door & frame powder-coated locally. Bought a porcelain top off eBay but if that doesn’t work out I will have the original done in porcelain (retro-renovation lists a company in Missouri that still does this).
Please list your range parts or “for parts”! I’d be willing personally to pay $150 plus shipping to get another parts range!
