Trouble locating loose ground wire 64 Overlander

I just replaced my electric brakes on my 64 Overlander and had a new brake controller installed in the truck. They worked great for a short while then stopped functioning. Still have all exterior lights working properly. Had the brake controller checked at the shop and it is working properly. I was told there must be a "loose" ground wire in the trailer. Does anyone have any ideas where this might be?
Thanks
