Renology battery drop in?

Renology makes it sound like you can just drop this in to replace a conventional battery. True?

They sure probably sell a lot of batteries to unsuspecting folks like yourself. As I said before, you will need to also replace your converter with a lithium capable unit while you replace the batteries with lithium...ANY lithium batteries. If you don't, the lithium units will never properly charge and you will be needing new batteries again in a relatively short time.

As noted above, *all* lithium RV batteries work the same way. The basic chemistry of the cells is what forces you to go with a "proper" converter charger that will work at the proper voltages for LiFePO4 chemistry. If you need to save every nickel, forget about lithium. Head over to Costco and buy whatever flooded lead acid RV battery they have on sale this week. It's a *much* cheaper approach.
