We are trying to install a new toilet in my daughter a Avion. The holes for the toilet bolts need to be at 9 o'clock and 3 o'clock, but ate at about 10 and 4 o'clock. This thing seems to be attached to the tank. What do I do?
Well, I found out from another forum that the flange is supposed to turn....humm....I hope it doesn't break when we do it! (Sorry about my spelling...smart phones & my typing don't get along!)
On older Airstreams the toilet flange screws down onto a connector in the top of the black tank. You may have to use a screw driver or big punch and a hammer to lightly tap it counter-clockwise (lefty-loosey) so you can "clock" the holes into the proper position. Be careful, don't beat on it just tap it.
