Low profile (14") vs standard (18") toilet

Hi,


Considering an upgrade to the dometic 320 toilet. It comes in two sizes, 14" or 18" height.


I read here : If your toilet mounts on the floor you should get the 18" height. If it mounts on a pedestal, then get the low profile version.


I measured my house toilet (which feels great), the edge of the bowl is 15" and the seat is at 16".


Thus could I not get the low profile 320 and if necessary just get a higher seat? This would be a pretty close match to what we have in our house.

What height (Gloor to top of seat) do you currently have in the trailer? Are you on a pedestal?

It doesn't really matter--do what fits and feels comfortable to you. The toilets themselves function the same, and they don't know whether they have been mounted to the floor, or set up on a raised mount.
