My Safari sewer outlet is routed through the frame channel. It is 3.5" poly and I have bought a black poly fitting that accepts a standard drain hose fitting. Originally, there was a plastic piece that slid over the 3.5" pipe up against the frame to cover the unsightly sort of round cutout that allows the pipe through the frame. Unfortunately 40 years of sunlight made this piece so brittle it fell apart upon removal of my tanks and outlet drain. Any idea where I could get some sort of replacement fitting? It is really only aesthetic, it doesn't do anything except give a finished look to where the pipe comes through the frame. The original appeared to be white/cream colored plastic but I'm not fussy what color a replacement is. TIA Lorry
I'm going to try mixing up some home made sugru and see if it can be tooled smooth enough to look ok. Its not like anyone but me is going to be getting close up and personal with it. In any case, I have a whole tube of opened silicon and a box of corn starch to mess around with. How To Make Your Own Sugru Substitute
