Decal Removal

Looking for advise. We have 2007 19 Bambi. We are the second owner. The first owner decided to put a large decal on the left side of the camper. It drives me and my OCD crazy as I want it gone but I am afraid of what I might do to the finish.

Any thoughts on removal? My current thinking is upgrading to a 25!

Also consider that there may be something hiding under that decal...dent, scratch?

Is it vinyl?
If so... Soften carefully with a hair dryer on low, when it softens pull up slowly, stop after you have enough to grab, let it cool, and repeat, cool is important so it won't stretch and break. 👍
