Need help with awnings on FC 30FBB

I am installing the awning package on my FC 30FBB. As you can see, I have the side done and only have the rear left to complete. The awning which ZipDee supplied is 4'3", which looks correct according to the photo I found online of a 30 FBB for sale. The question I have is the placement seems to be just above the first rivet on the rear; see photo. My concern is the left and right ends are long enough to be affected by the contoured rear quarter panels. If I rivet the rail against the trailer, the rail will bend to contour the quarter panels. Does this look correct? Are there any other 30 FBB owners with the awning package who can conveniently take a photo. Possibly where the ends attach and the rivet placement.

The ends float and they use 5 rivets across the middle, seam to seam.

Your a life saver!!! Never would have guessed. Also, it wasn’t until I saw your photo, I would have installed the awning rail upside down. The side has the rail with the c-channel down. …thanks again!!!

Are all of the Rivet heads the same, or do they use the 1” rivets on the end points?

All the rivet heads appear the same. They look like standard pop rivets and they filled the middle hole with a grey sealant.
