Battery Charging

I have a 2018 22ft sport. It has 2 90 watt solar panels from Zamp and a Zamp charge controller. I have the airstream parked in covered storage and plugged into 30 amp service. The battery does not appear to be charging. Does the main battery breaker need to be on for the battery to charge? I haven't had a change to get out with the rig yet, but when I brought it home the solar panels did a good job charging the battery and the first night at the dealer, when I stayed in the rig, with the breaker on, the battery seemed to charge.

Yes, the main on/off switch must be on for shore power to reach the battery.

This presumes the standard factory wiring configuration is in place.
