Recommendations on ac replacement

I have 1973 23' Safari . It has original ac unit on it that needs replacing.
So what is the best unit available with heat pump that utilizes interior drain line for airstream. Should I stay with 13.5? Or go to 15? Low profile or not?
I would love some feed back.

As many have stated on forums if ac can be fixed and is Armstrong, better than any ac on market today.

My girlfriend has a '66 Overlander and the Coleman AC has seen better days. We're assuming that it's not original and we too are wondering what recommendations anyone can make for a quality AC unit. She already has a central heat unit located elsewhere in the trailer and she used this for working 13 week medical contracts, so she needs something that is not just for "weekend use".

I'm looking for the same info. I bought a '72 Loverlander and I'm assuming I probably new a new AC plus I'd love to find something more efficient than the 70's models.

From 1964 until today, all of the air conditioners that Airstream has used, were "top" of the line at that period of time.

The only problem with the older units is the lack of adequate BTU output.

Today, 15,000 BTU units are available.

Back then from 1964 to the 1969 models 10,000 BTU was all that could be had.

Technology, in time, rewards most all of us with improvements and better designs.

Look at most any car today from even 5 or 6 years ago.
