Refrigerator rebuild recommendations

I’m helping a friend and he wants to rebuild the original refrigerator in his 63. Does anyone have recommendations (prefer west coast but any will do) of a shop that will rebuild the ammonia unit? I’m also on the hunt for the missing freezer door outer cover.

For the cost of am ammonia unit rebuild, look into a compressor conversion from sure marine. It costs about 600 dollars, runs on 12v (3-5a at peak, average 2) or 120vdc.

You get compressor driven performance, and don't have to worry so much about poor performance in summer time, or being within a few degrees of level.
