Hi to all: it was great to meet you at our last meet up at the Mohawk Inn off Guelph line and 401. Let's do it again!

If Wednesday March 15th is a good day we can all meet at the Mohawk Inn or we did discussed another location that would make it more central for all Ontario AS enthusiasts.

If you are lucky enough to be in a southern climate, I enviously forgive you LOL

I thought about 12:30 pm. Once we narrow down a place to eat and approximately how many attending I will make reservations. Lots of info and changes to share on our experience in searching for the perfect spot to camp in Ontario. And where to go in Ontario to see the Northern lights, which we may do this year, instead of Alaska. Bring your stories to lunch!

Not sure if we can make it Carol but will try. April looks like it's filling up so March may be a better bet.

Unfortunately I am not retired yet so I can't make it during the week. If this was a weekend, I would be there in a heartbeat! Picking up my AS on Friday!

I'm in Louisiana with CareaVanners on a Habitat site till middle of April. Will be thinking of all y'all though.

I think that date will work for me. The Mohawk Inn is certainly convenient being less than 10 minutes from my home, but I would consider going farther if that's better for others.

I have been to the Mohawk several times after hiking the Bruce Trail, and the food is decent there.
We'll try to get there, if no-one else changes our minds for us.
Give us a time; we're coming from Blenheim, (South of Chatham).
But..........

Carol, I did not know this was mid week so I will not be able to make it on that date. Too bad but that's the way of the working world. Unfortunately.

Mel, I would have liked to meet you as I believe we met before many years ago when you lived in Fenelon (or therabouts). You came to Orillia to get a scanner from me. I may have my Mel's mixed up but I'm pretty sure you are he. LOL

Yes, I did live in Fenelon Falls, last year; then moved down to Blenheim in Oct. last.
I've been to Orillia a number of times; And I'm trying to remember what I needed a scanner for.

Just a quick reminder we are meeting for lunch at Mohawk Inn on Wed, March 15th. I will call for a table. Just ask for the Airstream group. We look forward to seeing you.

With the past warm weather it has been very frustrating not to be setting up our Airstream. We have chosen this year to book a seasonal spot at Rock Glen Family Resort in Arkona, Ontario. We will take side trips from there. We like the fact we can camp any time and still travel.

Lunch is still on for 12:30. Carol cancelled it yesterday in another thread, but the weather is good in the Milton area so those of us who can are still going to meet.
