Curtain Sliders For '63 Overlander

I will be making the curtains for my 63 Overlander and need a source for the little metal sliders that are sewn into the curtains. Fortunately I have the original curtains so I know how much fabric to buy. Here are some shots of the sliders, a curtain, and the track. I have looked all over without luck. This week I will try my local sailmaker to see if he has an idea. Hopefully the FOAK (fountains of all knowledge) on the forums can help.

The metal sliders are like 2 buttons with a bar in between. One button is sewn into the cotton strip that is then sewn to the top of the curtain.

Button slider

They are buttons like used on jeans. You might try the local sewing store. You might also try googling them to see what happens.

You know, I am not sure why I never thought of that. Guess I got wrapped up in the details too much to see that, indeed, they are buttons from jeans.
A big DUH! moment for me (which is not all too unusual)
Thanks!!

Different

Tracey,
Your curtain track looks completely different from mine. I also have a 1963 Overlander.
My curtain tracks are actually pieces of awning rail, mounted upside down.
It looks as though someone might have changed your curtain tracks to the style you have now. Not bad, though. You have ore options on sliders to use.

1963 1964 curtain tracks

Those are absolutely original. They were used in most 1963 and some 1964 trailers. Not sure if it is another one of those Ohio/California differences. We're working to source the buttons and fabric tape to make this project easy for those who want to keep it all original. It was really a good system but the track is plastic so it eventually fails. And the curtains need to be replaced at least once every 50 years.
