I rebuilt mine using the originals as a pattern and they are: road side kitchen cabinet = 10 3/4", center bed cabinets = 12 3/8". This is the height at the front of the face frame, I beveled the back (top) of the face frame so that it fits the curve of the wall better. The height of the cabinet effects the width of the cabinet bottom; taller the cabinet, deeper the shelf.
My original cabinets had roll up doors without a top stile. My rebuilt cabinets have lift up doors with a full face frame. Since I re-used the bottom shelf wood from the originals and everything matched up at the same mounting locations, I'm pretty close to the correct height. I'll post a picture when it gets light outside.
