My wife and I are from western New York and have just joined the forms. We been thinking about buying a AS for the past couple years are we are nearing retirement. When we do buy we will be come second generation AS owners as my parents owned one in the late 70s. In fact, we used it for our honeymoon in Myrtle Beach.
My parents were very active club members having gone on many rallies and hosting local get-togethers with other members. My wife and I have fond memories of of a rally we joined them on in Duluth Minnesota over a Fourth of July weekend in the 80s.
We are hoping to buy our AS later this year and spend the next couple years getting used to the AS life before I retire.
We have two dogs, Zephyr and Monty, that travel with us on yearly vacations to the NC seashore. I chronicle our adventures on my YouTube channel "Zephyr Travels" and hope to add adventures with our AS in the future
We are looking forward to this Communities help as we start this new AS life style.

Welcome! As you probably know, unless you stay in National Seashore campgrounds, taking an Airstream to the NC Seashore can be expensive. The private, full-hookup, campgrounds charge a premium price for the location. Still, even though we live close to the coast, we still like taking our Airstream over there.
