New Looking for Used 25 ft

I have always been attracted to Airstreams. Have owned the 40 ft 5th Wheels and do not want to tow all that wasted space around.

The 25 is a big seller and favorite size for many so you should be able to find some nice used ones out there. Used Airstreams are a great value and should come with all the little things already corrected. Used Airstreams are not cheap but can be a great value. Look at tire age and factor in replacing those if needed. Ask lots of questions. Ask seller to list any and all repairs / replacements that have been made. Pay for a local dealer to do a inspection if your not comfortable doing that yourself.

This forum has a wealth of information on buying. Good luck in your search!

Hello from central Kentucky and welcome to the forums. I second the advice about checking out the forum classified section. We found ours there also. If you see something you like, call, don't email. You have to be ready to move fast or you'll miss out. Go see the AS in person, take along someone with you to check it out. Watch out for scams, too.

Yo from northern Illinois.
Great decision and good luck.
We just landed our very first AS and we found it on classifieds which is a great site.
We did major research for over a year and we had very strict standards as we are too long-in-the-tooth to "upgrade" in a few years. We will use our 25 forward twin and then retire from camping.
We shopped from mid to late April and finally closed October 31 with wonderful, wonderful sellers. I mean, our deal was just meant to be. It was just in the cards.
Be prepared to travel, free services are offered by fellow Airstreamers who will appraise a trailer you find in or near their community.
We are so jazzed we are like little kids on Christmas Eve.
