With a year to prepare, you should have everything figured out before the trailer is ready to pick up. Ask your dealer if they are giving you a starter kit of chemicals, toilet paper, floor mats fittings for your plugs. We got a bunch of stuff from our dealer which really helped.
They even gave us an exterior carpet that we use all the time, It is about 15 x 20 feet.
The icing on the cake were the nice Airstream baseball caps! We just kept asking for things until they got tired of us
