blessed with a airstream...

Hey ya'll and everything, We are mural artists who are taking a break from work. We are both simple people (rather be fishing types) lol I take care of him, his meds, diet etc...When he got his disability back pay, we went looking for homes with wheels-checked out a few used sob lots and were leary of the dealers as we didn't really know what to look for. We metal detect for excercise, one day tho we were walking down to a playground in an antique district and just simply walked up on this airstream with a for sale sign in the window. Now we are in Altus Okla in a peaceful trailer park for the winter I presume. Neither one of us drive, nor do we wish to, we hope that in the spring we may find people who can tow us to other parks and such. And are hoping to find mural work anywhere walls are available. We have won awards...we specialize in 'old pictures in black and white' and blow them up huge...eight of these monsters are in Breckenridge Texas there are thirty more scattered in other towns like Graham,Olney,Seymour...if you google Bill Ines you will see some of what we do,and most of these are rendered in airbrush. Well thanks for this space here we want to travel and if anyone of you have a wall on some building where an airstream could park,we'll come paint anything you want..anything!

Those are very intricate. Ho long did it take to paint an entire city block? Great work.

Great to have you in Oklahoma. Altus is quite a weather town here in the Spring. Wish you were closer to the central part of the state so we could swap trailer stories. Have a good winter down there. Looked at your work. That looks like something the City of Guthrie, Oklahoma, would be interested in doing. They are very much in to restoring the original capitol of Oklahoma. As you may know, this is Oklahoma's 100th birthday year.

I have seen Guthrie,I know what you mean...the murals showing old pictures are rendered useing flat black oil paint which acts just like charcoal with all its values applied to a white square, then we start in the lower left hand corner and go right fillinf them in character by character, the speed of the airbrush allows everything to happen pretty fast, that Seymour mural was painted in the winter and at times were walking on a sheet of ice! Then we seal the painting with a sepia color deluted in 'SEALKRETE' designed for verticle masonry walls. Thanks for looking!
