Another noobie

Well, Im new here from central CA. I do not own an Airstream, but rather just a Coleman Williamsburg pop-up that my parents bought new in '86-87 and gave to me a couple years ago. I plan on fixing it up a bit and contiune using it. Though it does look a little funny behind my F-350.

Whenever I get a place large enough, Id really like to find a Spartan Manor tandem. I have yet to find a Spartan forum like this one, and figure theyre simiular enough, and even have a subsection on here, so here I am.

Besides trailers, Ive always built and worked on vehicles. I have my '04 F-350, which is my daily driver/tow pig. I also have an '00 Dodge Neon that is my retired daily driver, as well as my race car for autoX. Then I have the one that started it all, my first car when I was 17, my '57 Chevy truck. Though it doesnt look much like a truck right now, but rather a nice looking rolling chassis and a pile of body work left, and split between my house and my parents house.

Well, thats a little about me. I look forward to being here, and learing the ins and outs of these tin can trailers as well as I have my '57 and my Neon.

Hi Brian, welcome to the Forums. You'll find that many people around here who like Airstreams, like the other aluminum trailers as well. Someday I'd love to have a Spartan Manor as a 2nd or 3rd trailer, I really like them.

There is a forum member who goes by the screen name balrgn who has renovated many Airstreams, and is currently in the midst of a Spartan renovation.

He has a thread here that you should check out if you haven't already:
