and it has begun.

My girly and I just purchased this airstream. we were living in a coachman fifth wheel for a little bit but have always admired the airstream style . i found our 76 excella 500 for sale online for 2thousand dollars. its like a dream. weve got alot of work ahead but we're super anxious to get it all worked out and move in. its not in terrible shape but there is alot that i cannot do myself for example wires hangin' out of everywhere and some plumbing fixtures all jimmy-rigged by former owners. luckily ive got some friends who have got some skillz in these areas. needs a Serious polish.. excited to have found this forum too. this restoration i imagine will take me about a year, ill be posting more photos and theads as i make progress.

Welcome to the forum and Airstreaming. Unfortunately you have now contracted ATS (aluminum-trailer-syndrome), of which I know of no cure.
