Stopping Chassis Rust on 2009 AS

Hello!

So I've discovered some fairly good sized patches of rust on my AS chassis. I'm hopping for a good spray paint or paint/chemical combo that might stop the rust from spreading and restore the black finish. I'm hoping to avoid the old school method of sanding bare, then priming, then painting.

Any new products that might make the job a little easier?

Thanks!

Tmarquis,
For some patches of rust here and there hit it with a wire brush and use the Eastwood rust converter and encapsulator then top coat with the extreme chassis black.

Rust already? Has the rust already bubbled the paint? There may be some cool product to neutralize the rust but I think the old tried and true way of metal prep is your best bet.
