Well here goes. Got a glass of... and a dictionary for words we are about to use. Today, we begin to tear the floor out of the vintaged one.
Does anyone have any helpful comments, suggestion, stories that will aid us.
Our local A/S dealer's A/S expert gave us bulletin on rear-end separation. Altho it appears ours is because of the rotton floor.
Seems vent pipes to the ceiling were the culprit, and a rusty curbside wheel well.
We have cleared everything except the bathtub out of the trailer, and that includes all the copper.(willl replace fresh water with I-pex tubing. We willl leave the existing drainiage system and holding tank. Neither leak, except for the slide valve.
Do we need to fillet the outer rear wrapping skin? My '70 International 27 had R/E separation, and a friend repaired it from peeling the inner skin away, drilling and bolting things up. So noticeable cuts outside.
Since we are replacing most of bath floor, as well as along the curb side area towards the door, can we just peel away the inner skin.
Are after markets wheel wells available. We have a bunch of parts coming from INLAND, but we see more now, what is ahead of us, with appliance removal
Thanks
