Advice for buying an Airstream :)

I bought a 68 sovereign last summer and have been fixing it up ever since. I thought I would "get a good deal" and "do the work myself" and then magically end up with my custom dream trailer for really cheap. I wish I knew how to make a smiley face that rolls around laughing. It will be a lot of work. You more than likely will need help at some point. And you will pay for everything one way or another. I dearly love my little piece of pure american shiny awesomeness, and probably love it more for the work I put in. It is a commitment of both time and money, and a "fixer upper" won't save you either. All said and done though, it is definitely worth it!

At least you're still able to laugh.....

Good luck and keep us posted.
