Poor city water pressure, 2000 Land Yacht 355XL

Hi
2000 Land Yacht 355XL (Ford V10 chassis)
Water pressure is lousy at all fixtures in this motorhome, even at campsites of known healthy city pressure. No leaks. No inline regulators between supply and hose or hose and house. No kinks in hose. Fresh tank inlet valve off. Flow at indoor and outdoor showers is pitiful. If I switch on the pump while city water connected,, pressure increases a good bit though not as much as I'd like. I replaced the inlet plate, which I think contains a vacuum regulator? That seemed to help a little too, but still not enough. Suggestions?
Thanks
Dave

Have you removed any faucet aerators and tried water flow etc. w/o it installed?

Many shower hoses/wands have a plastic restrictor-washer (water-saver) inside the fititngs which can be removed to increase flow.

Pic of water hose to shower head connection from my rig. That "thing" inside the connection sure could collect crud etc.

I'd consider PROVING that the inlet/regulator is passing at designed flow and not restricted.

You indicate that water pressure is low while on city water. Is the pressure low while using the onboard water tank and pump as well? If low while only on city water, I would look for a restriction in the line from the city water inlet to the "tee" where it attaches to the line from the water pump. I have seen pieces of the rubber washer from the garden hose connection restricting the line. You might have to cut the line prior to the tee and clean out. Has this problem just appeared, or has it been this way since aquiring the rig?

EngiDent,

Any luck?

Posting conclusions helps others learn what to look at and what the fix was.

Thanks for replies. The low pressure issue is coach-wide... Inside shower, outside shower, both sinks. If I toggle the fresh water pump while connected to city water, I get a slight increase in flow, but still nowhere near normal. I believe there has to be a regulator buried in the bowels of this thing. I doubt it is a flow *restriction* because a restriction would limit flow rate, not pressure, and there is no surge upon faucet opening. I do not use an inline regulator between spigot and city water connection. There are two backflow preventers, one built into the city water panel, the other is a Watts 288A mounted under the sink that I think is for either the toilet line or the water tank (I have a black tank flusher but there is no internal supply, only connect separate hose from outside.) I have replaced the city water panel / connector / backflow preventer and it made little or no difference.
