Here are a couple from our favorite place close to home, Buckhorn Campground in the Angeles Forest. I took about a million pictures like this in an attempt to get a good one for our Christmas card!

Two years back I did 3 weeks from home in Salt Lake City through Montana then up the Canadian Rockies to Jasper and back. Towed with my Jeep Liberty diesel without a single problem. Amazing trip.

I love this beautiful thread. Here is my first attempt at adding a photo from Ipad. The grandchildren are great at polishing the low areas! More pretty places will follow if this photo is a success. Photo on success, however I see it sideways...any way to fix that? Thanks for help.

That is an awesome shot! I love the subject matter, lighting, and reflections.
Really we'll done!

Just Returned
I enjoy this thread!. Had our maiden voyage in the great NW. With a new AS, it gets scary squeezing onto a ferry for the trip out....
We headed for the coast and actually found sun.....
One tired pup.... but oh the beach is wonderful!
We found great parks and camp sites in Washington and Oregon....
Back in the ferry line after 7 terrific days....
We really lucked out with the weather as now it rains all week.... Here are other pics and info on the trip....

Here are a couple of shots of the AS and the parks. The weather was spectacular not so much with the Easter week crowds. Conner our new co-pilot enjoyed his first trip out in the Bambi.
We also had the extra bonus a seeing the full lunar eclipse while in Zion.

Nice shots. I took that same shot from our campsite@ sundown. We were there the 3rd week of March (mid-week)and it was an absolute zoo... Cars and people everywhere. We couldn't find parking at trail heads or anywhere for that matter. We left after one night..... We're not into crowds.
Glad to see Conner enjoyed the trip... Where next....?

Due to an upcoming job change we won't be able to get out on a long trip with the tin can until late September. We have plans to stay in Yosemite Valley AFTER Labor Day and IF we can get a campsite.
Otherwise if I'm able to we will do a couple of week end trips to the local San Bernadino Mts. or if we can stand the heat Joshua Tree.

Where in San Bernadino Mtns?
JackDog... Please let me know where in the San Bernadino Mtns you find a good campground. I have a brother in Lake Arrowhead and I intend on visiting but need a place for my AS for a couple of days. I grew up in Upland but never went camping up in the hills.
Thanks

I'm not sure exactly where "that" is but, my guess is way west of there.... Nice pictures.

A good guess... I could see where you might think that. No hints on this - I'm curious if anyone can figure it out?....

Wind River Range in WY? Sigh.
Probably not even close, but that picture sure reminded me of that beautiful place.

Somewhere in the basin and range region, I would guess. Maybe Utah?

Do they have the hole fixed in the floor of the Corvette Museum?
