Enjoying our second shake down weekend in Airstream only CG located in NJ near shore points. Great "pull through" slot was available....so we went for it....
Nicely maintained campsites as well as the Grounds & facilities...
Plus was full hook ups....
Some privacy afforded with mixed evergreens & deciduous trees. Most sites were very level.
Somewhat less than stellar weather but didn't rain all weekend & we could explore the other campsites....lots of Excellas here for summer season. Very quite stay & would have have fantastic time with better weather. Beautiful large well kept pool onsite, well kept bathrooms & showers & laundry facilities. Added arrangement of local finds to enjoy from my FR Window

Hi Hudsoncamp,
Our AS dealer gave us two complimentary nights at Jersey Shore Airstream Haven...we added one additional night. There was little information online prior to scheduling a weekend. Apparently, several WBCCI members bought acreage years ago, heard land was originally a boys out camp. Story told to us by current shareholders, approx. 6-7 men worked each season adding campsite by camp site. Believe currently approx. 80% occupants are seasonal 6 months only APR-SEP.
Pretty nice wood like setting but some sites a little close to suit out camping needs. Grounds are very well maintained by Airstream volunteers. We were not able to select a site prior to arrival but very nice host took us around on arrival in grounds golf cart to "select a site" tour & we pick the nicest of three woodsy sites. Nice size rally field was also available & saw one new 27" AS stop over for few nights. Folks are very friendly here...we've just not been lucky with rainy weather but enjoyed our FC nonetheless!!!

Beautiful, Adenac and Spenfolder!
If anyone wants to see what a Bambi looks like after a telephone pole falls on it (not eye-candy ) check our post on the current "accidents" thread. It looks like, if it can't be repaired, that our "deluxe" insurance will pay for a new one, thankfully.
Spenfolder, is this a recent photo? Did you visit the Shooting Star Airstream RV park on this stretch of highway? Apparently it's reopened and we wondered it it's worth another visit.

Len n Jeanne,
Took that picture on Friday. I've been staying at the Shooting Star the past 3 nights with friends who rented 4 of the on site Airstreams. We are having a blast. Nice new owners, Troy and Michelle. They are open for business.

Wonderful.
We stayed there a few years ago and enjoyed the old movie night as well as walking along the Escalante River. That highway scenery is drop-dead beautiful, for anyone not worried about literally dropping dead off the edge of the "devil's backbone" section.

Brad, My co-worker and his girlfriend were doing a MS charity bicycle event this weekend and I thought they were (tent) camping overnight also at Clinton Lake. Was it crowded? Weather sure was great.
Still saving up my pennies!

It was full but a great CG! Lots of space and only 30 Min from our house. Got home early enough to wax the Bambi today, I did the T-Reg last weekend. both are nice and shinny!

Sweet shot. We'll be passing through your area on Thursday, headed for Yellowstone. We'll wave on the way through.
