Bed in 2001 25' International

We're looking at possibly trading our 2006 23' Safari for a 2001 25' International we've seen, primarily because we've become tired of wresting with the corner bed and the very limited leg-room of the corner toilet.

In examining the bed in the 25' unit carefully, it still looks as though it's a pretty tight fit getting around the outside edge of the bed because of the curve of the camper paired with the overhead bins (great storage but potential head-bangers when getting up in the middle of the night).

Has anyone else made this trade from a corner bed to the queen in a 25' (layout in a 27' is totally different, so this issue is ONLY relevant if you own (or have owned) a 25' with rear bed. THANKS for any and all input!
