Hitch weight of a 2005 22' Int Sig CCD

Hi there,

We know this is a really boring question but...

Does anyone know the unladen hitch weight of a 2005 22' International Signature CCD?

The Airstream website spec sheet says 590lbs
(http://www.airstream.com/files/libra...ed9972f117.pdf)

but another summary document on the site says 510lbs
(http://www.airstream.com/files/libra...c5c1005fbf.pdf)

Sorry for such a dull first post!

Laura and Roger.

Hopefully others with more expertise will come along to clarify, but could it be the difference between gas in the tanks and none?

By the way, welcome to Airforums.com! Are you in New Zealand!? Wow, I don't know if we have any other members from there or not!

Thanks Aage.

A helpful couple who are selling a 2005 22' checked the owners manual for us and it says the hitch weight is 580lbs. This seems a pretty reliable data source to me.

The slight variation we've found in trailer hitch weights for the same trailer size, year and specification quoted in different places is a bit mystifying and probably wouldn't really matter except that our tow vehicle has (by US standards) a rather low hitch weight limit.

And yes, we live in New Zealand. I think there are a few other kiwi forum members but Airstreams are exceedingly rare here. We're hoping to change that by 1 Airstream!

Thanks again.
