Hi everyone. We’re looking at a 2020 Ford Explorer as a tow vehicle for a 22 sport. There’s a great one used with 2k miles we have our eye on but it has the double moon roof and 20” wheels (instead of 18s). Should we be worried about these both adding weight and decreasing our payload? Or ride quality of the 20” wheels while towing?
I wouldn’t worry about either of these things. I’d be more interested in the towing specs, cargo and passenger capacity, etc. The door sticker with capacities should take these things into consideration.
