Battery monitor and charger

I’d like to install a battery monitor and would like to ask for suggestions on which one I should buy. I heard of the Vector? But it is a bit pricey for me. Some I saw were as inexpensive as $18, but was doubtful they would work properly. Does anyone have a monitor they would recommend? I just purchased a Optima AGM 12v battery and next plan to get a charger for it. Suggestions for a charger would be very helpful too. I found that the 2-4 amp models take a very long time to charge. I was hoping for something quicker. Thank you.

As far as the monitor, I went with the Victron 712 and while not cheap it's well worth the cost. The smart phone blutooth feature is great.
Anything in the 10's of $ will only be a voltage readout and while that is better than nothing it's not what a good monitor will provide.
