That is a shame! I won't mention THAT color either as I don't want to incur the wrath of anyone either.

BTW, I just gave you karma with the hopes it will help cancel out the bad karma!

Here is a definition of karma:

In Hindu belief where the term originated, it is the idea that the good and evil a person does will return either in this life or in a later one. Among Pagans, the theory is that whatever negative or positive energies one sends out will come back to the sender in like kind. The “Three Fold Law” is a version of this belief.

What they said.

I like keeping the karma private for all the same reasons other posters who want to keep it private already said.

Good karma to all.

I think publication would create negative and positive karma. I think as private support or respectful nay say it is a boon to me. Make it public and I would be embarrassed to give or receive it. We already have the option of agreeing or disagreeing publicly in a reply post.

Members could always post it now if they like.

We need to agree on how negative numbers would be displayed.

You could use a minus sign (mathematics), or parentheses (accounting), or red text color (financial).

Keep it private and abolish the option to leave Negative Karma at all. If you can't say it in public, don't say it at all. Can you tell that I unfairly recently received negative Karma that had nothing to do with my post, but which had to do with another persons "personal agenda" (kinda the the "red" thing Chaplain Kent mentioned). My day was ruined! My Karma score is forever tainted! I had never received Negative Karma before. I have never given anyone negative Karma and never will. Negative Karma provides the opportunity to tear this community apart. I know I will probably never converse with the person that gave me that Negative Karma again. GET RID OF NEGATIVE KARMA FOREVER!

I would appreciate some red dots on my Karma list. Could be kind of Christmas like if you get enough. Prehaps if I start to give i will receive ... Do you thing we could have Yellow Karma, like in that was close you better be careful. Or SILVER.

i agree with you on this....
my first red dot.....came without any words....so i pm'd the person...
who replied it was because i'd abreviated another members name, and no capitals.....
that made it hard for him to follow my post.... .

a few weeks later he sent green with a note "this is make up"....

yes negative comments can be written in a post and that is the place for adults to exchange views....
but the post is there for all to see (cowards don't like this)....and may get deleted....while bloody red soup...isn't deleted by mods....that i'm aware.

and some folks just want to offer a critique privately....
i'm guessing that was the intent in your case, based on our deleted posts yesterday....

so 66o' you will recover from this trauma....(20 greens will bump it off the page)
i've since had a good laugh from the few red darts tossed my way...the members that use it....think it's useful.....
i usually toss green love back at them.....love your enemies....yadda, yadda.

and i still may become ceo of gm....oh wait....that's another thread

cheers

I'd like to know if the total of all Karma has passed 100,000.

If it hasn't, can we start a pool?

Thought we were gonna have a Karma Catalog to trade in Karma points for trinkets?

I have enough for a rocker switch for my Safari.
