Whoops! Thor Industries major 'miss' earnings..
Thor Industries missed their earnings on 'margin' concerns...higher sales, less profit...hmmm...

Generally speaking, gross margin refers to variable stuff - sales less cost of sales. All things being equal, it would indicate that costs of materials and labor is up while sale price is lagging behind. Perhaps unit prices are held down due to lower demand while costs keep marching on.
