Broken Window FC 25 Mistake & Advice

First the admission: We failed to relatch one of the large operable Windows by the settee after we were unable to get it opened. Next day underway it popped open and when discovered 99% of glass was gone. Hardware looks fine, screen ok and no other damage.

Now the help request: Has anyone out there gone through replacement process and what can you advise?

The process is almost obscenely easy.
Vacuum up all the broken glass, unscrew the two nuts holding the lift arms to the window, swivel the old hinge up and out of its track, and swivel the replacement window into place. Screw on the two nuts on the lift arms, AND MAKE SURE THE WINDOW IS LATCHED.

You can't go to a glass shop and pick up a standard piece of glass and have it cut to fit. It is tempered safety glass which cannot be cut. It will be easiest to get a replacement glass from a dealer.
