Tips to extra happy-ify wife?

We've had our 19-Serenity for about a month now and I'm planning our 3rd escape for this coming weekend. These quick getaways have been very special for us so I want to surprise her with something to make it extra special. Any tips out there? My creativity seems to end at having flowers waiting in the trailer for her, and probably in a broken vase on the floor because I'd forget to secure them.

Flowers

Just leave her a long note explaining the relationship between "the lack of flowers and the cost of gasoline"

I am sure she will understand!

Pull something special out of the freezer or cupboard - fancy ice cream (I'm still stunned by the idea of being able to take ice cream when camping), box of chocolates, etc.

Flowers are nice too - even if they're scattered on the floor, it's like scattering rose petals in her path...

how about a new pair of rubber gloves and boots when she dumps the black tank? Matching colors, of course!

To the flowers add the bubbliy and a card letting her know how those times have been special with her, then maybe she will show you how special they have been as well.

How about getting her a nice photo album/travel journal that she can keep track of all the wonderful memories you are making with the new trailer? They sell them at places like Target.

For travel journal, Airstream sells a nice aluminum covered one with Airstream logo on their website. That is what we are using as a travel/camping journal.

Are the pages just lined notebok pages? Airstream site doesn't have photos on inside pages.

I agree - AND - just the fact that you are thinking of how to extra-happify your wife - will make her feel special! My favorite things that my husband does for me while 'streamin' - getting up before me to take the dog out, making coffee while I'm still in bed, and then in the evening - building a beautiful campfire, setting my chair next to it with a fuzzy blanket and a glass of wine there waiting. . .

Uh, i just want to surprise her, not give her a heart attack. Your husband must be really good.... or really, really bad

So, I am quite happy being single. But if I ever settle down, hope my partner is half as thoughtful as you (all) - well, except *the one* who suggested gloves for dump-duty.

I'm a little teary-eyed... another beer should set that straight though.
