Don't feel bad, Frank. I see this question all the time on a photography forum I help moderate. You'd think photographers would be able to figure it out on their own
As a courtesy to those of us on antiquated dialup connections, please keep your photos as small as posssible. Resize them to 640x480 or thereabouts, then save as a JPEG using level 5 compression as a starting point, and try to get the file down to 50kb to 60kb.
It is very frustrating trying to open a thread with a 100kb or larger file attached. It is even more frutrating when more than one person uploads a large file. I've had to wait five minutes for a single page to open at times.
