Air in fuel system

Been chasing my tail for a couple of days. The Cummins has run beautifully and flawlessly since I bought the thing last August. The other day I started it up and it started idling rough then quit. I checked the lift pump pressure and found a bunch of air in the system. Turned out to be dried out O-rings on the Winn air/H2O purge system. It has a clear plastic pre pre filter with a screen in it. Kinda ironic that the system that purges air from the system was letting air in. I nugged it enough to start leaking while replacing the cartrage filter. I googled Winn Fuel Filters and found out its a pretty common problem. Just something to check next time you replace the cartrages. It's the kind of failure that will leave you on the side of the road.
