Tutorial: How to find freshest info here
You will see the 30 threads most recently receiving posts if you open the portal page at airstreamforums.com. Go toward the right and there is a column titled 'Last Post.' In that column click on the colored square enclosing the '>' if you want to see latest possible post within a thread.
For newcomers, see post #118 on the ' Hello Guest' thread.

I found the column and the ">" sign. Nice feature! Thanks for the tip!

I am referring to the Airstream Forums main access at www.airforums.com. The frame window above the long listing of threads has a dark blue bar titled 'Latest Discussions:.' The columns under that are 'Title, Username & Date,' 'Last Post,' 'Replies,' and 'Views.'

Good morning Bob. If i want to ask a question about air in my water line making noise how would i go about it? Where do i ask the question on the forum. I see you have a 25fb and hope you are enjoying it as much as i do. I feel I have moved into a wonderful space after my 19 bambi , heck, the refridgerator even has a light ! Thanks, Randy

Hi Randy. We should see a software upgrade with improved search in the coming months. My most effective finds come when I use advanced search. Searching on 1 word is most effective; using two or more search words isn't great. It helps when you can narrow it down to one forum (eg, plumbing) in the 'Search in Forum' box. Default mode for search is latest post; switching 'Sort results by' to Relevancy works better when I have to use 2 search words. I sometimes select 'Show results as' 'posts' rather than 'threads' -- especially useful when I'm searching for a very specialized topic or the threads on the subject may have too darned many posts to read through.
The top line in advance search offers some good options; eg, if I know which member posted on a subject or if I know my searchword will be in the thread title. These are useful if you remember certain threads -- not as useful if you're searching cold.
Otherwise I can recommend http://www.airforums.com/forums/f138...rum-37729.html for a Google-Forums search technique originally brought up at AIR Forums by TomW.
25' FB? Absolutely love it!

If I click on "New Posts" do I get all the posts since my last visit? Or will it also include those I haven't read yet (at all)?
Also, what is the "Warn: (0%)" about? Is there somewhere telling me how I can take that away?

I LOVE the "New Posts" feature!
It calls up all the posts since your last visit then it has a "break" and shows you all the unread posts leftover from previous visits. I usually only peek in for a post or two during the day...then come back and read the rest later ~ it works great, I can scan through the new ones and pick out the ones I want to read "now" and save the rest for later. When you are done reading all those you want and want to "clear the deck" just click on "Quick Links" then "Mark All Forums Read" and it will start over so next time you log on it will only show posts since you last visit...non of the older un-read posts.

Yes, I see that now. Well, that is a clever way to sort that issue. Thanks very much for pointing that out to me, Shari!
Now if I could only figure out that warning counter.
cheers,
Aage

What you have described is what everyone is seeing. The meter is used to regulate unruly forum behavior and is rarely used. If there has been an infraction - (say for instance - dissing MY trailer) the 0% would change to 20% or for a really egregious infraction (can't imagine what could be worse though...) it might say 80%. Only you and the admin team can see your meter. Everyone has a meter but you may not view other members meters and they can't see yours. Hope this helps.

Thanks very much for the information Janet. Please know that I would never diss your TT, I am an Argosy fan.
By the way, I did look for it in the FAQ, but didn't come across any mention of the warning thing.
cheers,
Frank
