ChromeChaser,

Beautiful! and encouraging as i begin work on my own '74 Tradewind.

Did you paint the ceiling light covers? what paint did you use? I've hung on to the covers tho i don't like them b/c they are incredibly yellowed and warped/wavy and actually stink!

but yours, with their fresh color, look fine. but what paint wouldn't also block light?

thanks, and again; Looks Great!

Hi chromechaser -- very nice! Good decor touches too.

What mechanicals needed to be restored or replaced? (eg, furnace, HWH, fridge, axles) How long did this take you? Always good to hear the particulars.

Beautiful! I'm jealous - we're just to "functional" as of this weekend, and another year to "done" (maybe. are we every really "done"?).

Thank you! The ceiling light covers are new. I think we got them at inland rv or out of doors mart.

Thank you for your compliments. Most of our mechanicals were in good working order. We did replace all of the water lines and plumbing fixtures as well as paint all bathroom components. Only water heater issue was the need for a new thermal coupler. Other than that and packing wheel bearings it's just been lotsa painting. oh yeah and we installed the vinyl floor tiles. Now comes the hard part. Our exterior needs some love

Yeah I agree I don't know that any trailer is ever 100% done. Enjoy the process and post pics

Chromechaser, can you tell us a bit about the paint you used on the walls / ceiling? I'm working on a 74 Ambassador and am eyeing that old countertop, which is sagging behind the sink. I'd love to know what you used from Ikea (link to product?) when you updated your countertops. Lovely, clean work! Thanks.

Hi!
Okay so the paint we used was an exterior paint (behr premium plus ultra) didn't need to use any other primer. Here is the link for our countertops.

Best of luck, Jamen
