Early 60's[60] Overlander

Has anyone put A/C on a early 60's Overlander. I've bought and recived my new low profile A/C, I have split the fridge-vent fan circiut, also made provions for solar. I'm Planning on the middle vent as it has ribs on either side. what sort of framing should I be thinking about.
Thanks

Welcome to Air Fourms and the vintage Airstream hobby. I almost purchased a 59 Overlander, but the thing looked sway happy with a single axle. Some Overlanders came with dual axles, but maybe not until after the Dura Torque axles were incorporated. It was in pretty good shape.

I have seen some threads where folks have reinforced the 14" square vent opening for the heavy AC. Use the google search function and see if you can find some AC install threads. I know Aerowood did an excellent job on his.

Stay tuned, you will get more responses.
