Oh well, here goes nothing. Another Airstream Wannabe gets lucky ...so how long will the enthusiasm last?

Hi Dave,
I owned this 56 13 panel for 4 years. I was the 3rd owner and bought it from John Cleveland. He owned it for 40 years and purchased it from the original owner. I had it in Savannah, Georgia area and here in Kansas. The Marvel fridge works fine after 54 years!
Cheers,
Mark

One or two careful owners?

Would love to know some history. Anyone out there heard of this one pre 1980?

10am Saturday! Day after tomorrow! Excellent.

Also arranged a prelim meeting with small company from Taunton about refurb plans on the following Saturday, 13th. That will be interesting - especially as I haven't even seen the tin can myself yet.

Perhaps this is the most exciting bit. Not knowing the grimy reality that doubtless awaits beneath that tired grey exterior, blissful ignorance still has its silky grip on my enthusiasm. Been quite happy mapping out different layouts...

RESERVED!
After about 18 months of gently excited "shall we, shan't we" type discussion, I finally took the plunge a week or so ago and paid Sam the deposit on a 26' '56 Overlander
'56 Overlander.
It's now pretty much all I can think about.
Said trailer...
trailer
...is thankfully already here in the UK which just seemed so much easier for us. We are really really smitten with Ken J's beeeeoootiful '58 overlander... '58 Overlander ...(wow)...
