Pros:	Very clean restrooms and showers
Cons:	Swimming beach for campground not appealing

We stayed at this campground in April 2008 for the We Can Tow It Rally. We had a very nice experience with helpful rangers, the grounds were clean and well maintained, the restrooms and showers were very clean. Probably the restrooms could use a new coat of paint, and the showers were a little dark, that is they needed better lighting, but I was impressed with the cleanliness. The swimming beach was not very appealing to me, even for wading, with the algae and fish parts lying around, this could have just been the time of year. There was a breakwater with a goose nesting nearby. Boaters and fisherfolk will like this lake. It was a nice place for a rally and close to Jackson Center. There are grocery stores and gas stations nearby.

Pros:	Grounds well kept/Clean Restrooms and Showers

We also stayed at Grand Lake St.Marys State Park at the same time as the above person. The grounds were well kept and restrooms and showers clean. Washers and Dryers were available
Swimming area left a lot to be desired. The reason for that was that was severe flooding in the park which left lots of wood and dead fish on land when the waters receeded. This was very early and the area very wet and park workers had not been able to clean up.
We found the VIPS and the ranger very nice and people oriented.
We look forward to camping there again.
