This is advertised in the KOA directory and on their website as the largest KOA campground. They call this a "resort", not just a campground.
While it does have the standard closely packed KOA campsites, each are paved, with concrete patio and full hookups. CATV and WiFi are available for an extra change. The bath houses are large and spotlessly clean.
It's the amenities that set this KOA apart. There are three pools, one for kids, one for families and one for adults only, complete with a poolside bar and live music on certain nights of the week. There is a nine-hole golf course on the property, along with four tennis courts and even a Kamp K9 for the dogs with a fenced dog run, agility course and even kennel service. There is even a restaurant and fully stocked general store on the premesis.
While it's a bit pricey in-season, the folks are nice, the park is well cared for an it's a good stop for a night or two when you want to treat yourself to something more.
