Hi and thanks for your help. The door does not fit tightly against the frame, there is some space where the water can get inside. would replacing the gasket prevent seepage even with a gap?

Thanks for the tip. What caused your box to rot? Also, the floor in the sink area of the bathroom is also rotting so whatever caused that problem ended up in that box.
