I think you should consider a one ton passenger van same size as a pickup truck easy access to a lots of dry covered space. You could even get an extended model, if you carry that much gear

I just don’t like that idea, you will ruin the door, and it is a lot more trouble than you are thinking. I think vintage trailer sells a complete kit, rivits and all.

I like the 30/20 idea, smaller cords are easier to handle and store, 50 amp service is not always available. Unless you are only traveling in the hottest parts of the country, you won’t need that...
