    Hi Out of Control,

I am in the process of looking at a 2014 16 sport and found a used one in the Portland area. I am in the Seattle WA area, I couldn't just go and look. Would you be able to do an inspection for me. The sport is currently store at Luxury Vehicle Care, 3901 SE Naef Rd, Portland, OR 97267. Please let me know when will be a good time for you to do this and charge for this service.

    Thank you,

    Hi Out of Control,

My wife and I are looking to purchase our first Airstream, and I found a used one in the Portland area. I'm currently working in Florida for the next couple of weeks, and I need someone to go look at this Airstream within the next day or so, to make sure everything works, so I can purchase it with peace of mind. Are you available to do this, and what do you charge for this service?

    Thank you,
    Jeremy Johnson

Hi - I'm in the process of purchasing a 2014 23' Airstream in the Portland Area. I live in South Alabama and would feel better about the purchase if I had a second set of eyes to look at it. The seller is super nice and has pointed out the good as well as any bad points but I would just feel more at ease with a second opinion. Would you be interested in looking at this trailer? I can reimburse any costs.

    Thank you,

Out of Control: I'm new to the Airstream world and the Forums. I've found an AS trailer in the Eugene area (Junction City) that I'm interested in. I need to find a volunteer inspector. I wonder if you'd be interested in taking a look for me? It's about 1 3/4 hours from you. If you're interested, please let me know what costs I can reimburse.

    Thanks,

I bought 4 reels of RGB LED waterproof strips. A bunch of connectors, wire, and Music controller to make the lights dance with the music!

Also fabricated a press brake to bend sheet metal... Should have just bought the one at HF for $60. Oh well.

This project was going to be months down the road. Once we spent some time with the trailer and did some research, and thought about it.

Our maiden voyage was supposed to be this weekend as well. Then the complexity of having a joint ownership reared it's head. My wife assumed we'd be sleeping in the now plush and private rear Mega-King (see project #3) bedroom. The Brother and his wife also assumed they'd be sleeping in the new (awesome) bedroom. Tensions were getting high,...

Well, we were going to wait on the floor. The laminate floor in the coach was cupping in places, and delaminating in some other places, but for the most part it was fine. Project #4 was going to be a remodel of the living room. Until we pulled out the Gaucho and realized that the floor didn't go far enough forward. Now project #4 is the floor, and #5 will be the living room "J-Lounge"

Here's the "before"

We share this trailer with my wife's brother. It's a great co-ownership, and we spend a lot of time camping together anyway. The problem is there's 6 of us. 4 adults, and 2 kids (so far). We're done having kids, but they have one, and are talking about 2 more.

Stage 1 - Convert twins to queen + twin in back.
Stage 2 - Replace front goucho with modern "J-Lounge/Dinette" for better eating, lounging, and nighttime accommodations.
Stage 3 - Add bunks to rear...
