Been 6 months since you posted this to my profile page. Guess I should check that profile page more often. My '78 Sovereign project is progressing - perhaps not as fast as I want it to be. Seems that the well-since-you-took-that-apart-might-as-well-do-this syndrome has been eating me alive - I am now down to the bare insides and I'm redoing the 120v service panel, upgrading to a 50 amp connection and improving the distribution box to allow more separate 120v 15a and 20amp circuits then came with the trailer back in 1978. More and more RV parks and State parks are offering 50a connection, and yes some are charging more for 50a. Its all good, since I am pretty certain that I will do away with any propane inside the unit.

Hello, just wondering how you are doing with your Airstream?
I've found an Airstream I want (78 31' Excella Rear Bedroom) that appears to have been sitting in the same place since 1998, at least that's the last time it was licensed and there is a small tree growing right in front of the door so I know it's been a long time since anyone has been in it, who know's what suprises are on the inside but besides being dirty on the outside, it's in great shape, no dents or dings. I just need to find the owner and see if they are willing to sell. It's sitting next to a small Apt complex and I'm guessing the Apt owner also owns the Airstream. Hoping to get it real cheap as long as there is not major damage on the inside.
