I've have my fingers crossed that the subflooring is okay. I'm interested in your choice of flooring. I'm considering marmoleum or trafficmaster faux wood. Suggestions? I really appreciate your help!!

    Hi there,

I used ACX plywood, 3/4". I considered marine grade plywood, but both use the same exterior-grade glue, the biggest difference is that MGP has fewer voids than does ACX. That is important when building a boat, but less important for the floor of an RV. And ACX is maybe 1/3 the cost of MGP, so that was certainly a factor.

I picked it up at Austin Fine Lumber, it's not available at any of the box stores as far as I know.

    Good luck!
    -Marcus

I've followed your Blog and want to thank you it's very interesting and helpful. I live in North West Austin and have a 99 Safari in need of new flooring. What did you use and what criteria did you use to make your product selection. I appreciate your help!
