Help IDing 21.5ft flying cloud ?

since the trailer is 21.5ft im calling this a flying cloud but could be wrong on it. The rear window style looks like that of the 51, but its a more modern hehr window that most 52 - late 50's use.

But most 52's had a big single pane in back with the 2 small windows sandwiching a big fix pane in front. It also looks like 21 1/2 ft FC's were a thing from 51 and older.

So im thinking this is late 51 / early 52. Could it be one of the first few coming from OH? This is an east cost trailer with alabama plates.

Heres the kicker; VIN / ID plate is missing.

It looks a little later to me judging by those windows. Could it have been remodeled? Hard to tell. Can you look for the stamped vin on the a frame? Cool trailer!

ID help

Hi,
It doesn't look like the 51 clouds I've seen in person or in pictures. It seems to be shaped more like the normal '53 clouds to me. The front side marker light placement on the front end cap as well. The front window looks like most '53 clouds to me. However the side windows are a bit different. The small window on the curb side in front of the door is interesting. Check out Fred's article in the winter 2010 issue of ASL. Have you any pics of the interior?

interior was gutted and 'remodeled' in the past. its the rear window that baffles me the most... sorta like 51's with the 2 horizontal windows but obvy the later window style. I can never find vins on the frame. i thought they were supposed to be on the inside of the tongue. anywhere else it might be?

Sure it's an Airstream? It's not an Avion, but maybe a Streamline? Even a Travelux?

The wheel wells somehow don't look "Airstream" to me.

It's a puzzlement.
