I stumbled across a YouTube video from Big Truck - Big RV channel at the RVX Show in Salt Lake City and the reviewer walks through an Airstream that appears to be a NEW 23’ Globetrotter Front Bed Twin!

We had a FC23FB so I recognize the rear bath and galley and dinette. This one has a full size fridge-freezer and twin beds instead of the sideways queen.

I was able to snag some screen grabs - tell me I’m not crazy!

PS: We’re heading to Jackson Center on Monday, April 1 to see our new 27’ GT in production!

I really like the GT interiors and the addition of twin beds makes this floor plan even more appealing!

Is this a custom job, or really a new model?

And if it is new... how did Airstream make this, get it to a dealer, and get some random guy to make a video about it without anyone else knowing??

Long-time lurker, as I plan for my Airstream future... saw this video and created an account to post about it.

I subscribe to this guy's channel, so saw it right away and my jaw dropped when he went inside and I first caught a glimpse of the dinette ... in a Globetrotter?! So that must be a 23' or so... with twin beds? I'd heard AS planned to phase out Internationals in favor of Globetrotters, so I expected to eventually see a wider size range. But very excited to see this floorplan!

The Big Truck Big RV guy usually features big box and 5th wheel trailers. As he says, he's never featured an Airstream on his channel before. So I doubt he had any idea he was making news shooting inside this particular trailer.

I just asked Patrick from Colonial about it on FB. He says "That was a protoype model No announcements have been made."

I was down at Airstream Adventures NW and Ultimate Airstreams in OR yesterday to pick up some mods for my 27FB. I mentioned to Ian at Ultimate that I wished Airstream made the GT in a 30 footer. He said Ultimate Airstreams can make a GT in a 30 footer. I would imagine they could make this 23 footer as a GT as well (Ian said they want to get the word out that they can do these mods/builds in addition to the mods they already do). His comment was they can do just about anything you want.

The thing is it will probably cost 2 arms and a leg.

I'm updating my AS and wanted to purchase the long thin panel that runs along the pullout in the lounge because this piece in my AS is covered in fabric (I already purchased all of the other associated bottom lounge pieces in the new laminate from the AS factory, but forgot to order that piece). The price for the 2 flip-down panels, the panel that has the furnace intake and the remaining panel at the back of the AS was @ $400.00 direct from AS. The "missing" piece I need is @ 4-1/4" wide and 65" long - more or less a 65" long 2 x 4. He quoted me a price of $300.00 to fabricate it - WOW! I'll order it from the factory.

I can't imagine what it would cost to have them make a 23' or 30' GT . . .

Ups! I was about to put Dow my money for a FC 23 FB. We don’t like the international decorations enough for the extra money, but this..... made me nervous
